Under the patronage of His Excellency Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Ministerial Committee for Information and Communications Technology, Gulf University achieved a significant milestone in digital transformation. The institution secured first place for Best Private Sector Website in the 2025 eGovernment Excellence Award, plus nominations in two additional categories.

The university earned nomination in the Best Integrated eServices category for its Student Portal, which provides a unified system enabling students to efficiently manage academic and administrative requirements.

Additionally, Gulf University received recognition for Best Participation through its AI-powered electronic survey initiative, which has strengthened student engagement and improved educational performance metrics.
