In line with Bahrain Vision 2030, Gulf University Strategic Plan 2023-2027 sets the direction and roadmap towards the aspirations in becoming a distinguished higher education institution at national, regional and international level.

The center focuses on Digital Transformation, through leveraging technical and human capabilities to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness across teaching, learning, and university processes while building human and infrastructural capacity.

Gulf University is a forward-thinking institution that strives to provide its faculty and students with guidance and the knowledge of disruptive and emerging technologies. The university established this center to drive innovation, improve efficiency, and digitize campus operations while enhancing academic programs and research quality.

Scope of Center

Research and understand new technologies supporting teaching and learning in higher education
Identify priority areas where digital transformation adds maximum value
Design and implement a digital transformation roadmap
Develop campus management systems automating teaching, learning, assessment, and research
Provide training and support to faculty and staff on digital tools
Measure impact of digital transformation initiatives and recommend continuous improvements
